Variables
System and Application Variables can be defined and used in various ways within deFacto processes, i.e., to define report headings and definitions dynamically

Security Roles
Users can be limited in their ability to read/write data, or both, as defined in roles using the specified secured dimensions

Workflows
Use Workflows for Budget Approvals, setting up assignments to control data submissions, track the status, and even report on those submissions

Database Locks
Further layer of data security that would apply to all users regardless of their role i.e., to lock down a finalized budget
